Custom Thumbnails Test:  Find the Best Thumbnail for Your Videos

We’re excited to launch the Custom Thumbnails Test, a feature designed to help you compare and determine which thumbnail grabs the most attention and performs best for your videos.

How to Upload and Start the Test

While uploading a new video or editing a draft, select Upload Custom Thumbnails → Upload up to 6 thumbnails → Submit your video for review.
Alternatively, you can choose Select Automatically to generate thumbnails from video screenshots and start the test.

Monitoring Test Results

Once your video is published, the test starts automatically.
When the test is complete go to the Published section and select Edit Video to see which thumbnail performed best.
